Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 October 2026

1. Who we are

This website, osintfirm.com (the “Site”), is operated by OSINT Firm (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@osintfirm.com.

2. What these terms cover

We offer (a) independent open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis engagements, and (b) paid subscriptions to self-serve, browser-based tools in the client portal (the “Tools”). These terms apply to your use of the Site and the Tools. Consulting engagements are also governed by a written scope or agreement agreed with you, which takes priority if it conflicts with these terms.

3. Lawful use only

You agree not to use the Site, the Tools or our services to:

  • stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or covertly monitor any person;
  • target or profile a minor;
  • gain or attempt unauthorized access to any account, system or data;
  • violate privacy, data-protection, anti-discrimination, employment or credit-reporting laws that apply to you;
  • do anything else that is unlawful.

You are responsible for making sure your use of the Tools and of any information they return is lawful where you are, including having a proper legal basis for researching any individual. We may decline work, suspend access or end an account if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

4. Your account

You must give a valid email address, keep your password confidential, and not share your login. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised. On team plans, the account owner is responsible for the people they invite and for what is saved in the shared workspace. Do not store unlawful material there.

5. Plans, prices and payment

  • Plans and their prices (in US dollars) are shown on the pricing page. Applicable taxes are added where required.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. A crypto payment buys one month of access and does not renew automatically; we email you a renewal invoice before the period ends. If an invoice is not paid, access pauses a few days after the period ends and resumes once payment is confirmed.
  • Crypto payments are final once confirmed on the blockchain. Sending the wrong amount, to the wrong address or on the wrong network may make a payment unrecoverable. The exchange rate is fixed when the invoice is created.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. For card plans, use “manage billing” in your dashboard; for crypto plans, simply don't pay the next invoice. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Card plan upgrades and downgrades are prorated. See our Refund Policy.

7. About the information the Tools return

The Tools help you search and organize publicly available information. Results come from public sources and third-party services, and may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. They are provided for general information and are not legal, investigative or other professional advice. Verify anything important independently before you rely on it, and do not use the results alone to make decisions about a person's employment, credit, housing or similar matters.

8. Third-party services

Some Tools open or query third-party sites and services (for example search engines, DNS and registration-data services). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.

9. Our content and acceptable technical use

We own the Site, the Tools and their content. While your subscription is active you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Tools for your own purposes. You may not resell or share access, copy or reverse engineer the Site, or use automated means to send bulk or excessive requests.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Site and Tools running but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, add or remove features, and may apply usage limits as described on the pricing page.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. You may stop using the Site at any time.

12. Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and Tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site or Tools is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in the place where you live.
